The last of the Eagles’ irrepressible front line “Hobbits” – his fellow high-scoring mighty mites have all graduated -- the 5-7, 150-pound Venable scored seven goals in last year’s state tournament to finish his stellar season with 36 goals and 27 assists in 18 games. He was also a running back on the Eagles’ Class 6A state championship football team last fall.
