Rosemount at Bloomington Jefferson
6 p.m., Tuesday, May 13
MN Lax Hub Spotlight Game

As expected, Rosemount has been an offensive juggernaut this season. The Irish have scored 15 or more goals five times, and senior midfielder Conner Yepsen ranks fourth in the state with 26 goals. Yepsen, along with his twin brother Carter (20 goals), figures to be a leading Mr. Lacrosse candidate. The Irish can play some defense, too. They are allowing just 6.14 goals per game behind the play of senior goaltender Shaun Skrbec.

At least Bloomington Jefferson will have a few days to recover from Saturday’s marathon triple-overtime loss to Champlin Park before taking on the Irish. The Jaguars opened last week by knocking off No. 1-ranked Prior Lake 7-6 on Tuesday and then easing past Apple Valley, another top-10 team, 9-6 on Friday. Sophomore Ryan Graff is, like the Yepsen twins, one of the state’s best offensive talents. Graff has a team-best 22 goals.
