Maple Grove at Champlin Park
7:30 p.m., Monday, May 12

Maple Grove has won six straight after opening the season with a three-game losing skid. The Crimson didn’t reach double digits in scoring until their sixth game but have scored 13 goals or more in each of their last four outings. Junior midfielder Jake Willson has been a study in consistency, scoring two or more goals in all but one of the Crimson’s first eight games. Speaking of consistency, how about Champlin Park? All the Rebels do is win – they have seven victories in seven games. The Rebels passed their toughest test yet last Saturday, beating Bloomington Jefferson 8-7 in triple overtime on a goal by scoring leader Nick Bunde (16 goals). Bunde, a junior attackman, also scored the goal the sent the game into overtime.
