St. Paul Central at St. Paul Washington
3:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3

St. Paul Central leads the St. Paul City Conference with 24 points, six more than second-place St. Paul Washington, heading into the final week of play.

Central (9-1-1, 8-1-0) and Washington (9-1-3, 5-1-3) meet on Friday in the final conference game for both teams. The teams each have two conference games before meeting Friday, but barring a complete meltdown it would seem the Minutemen, who have won their last five games by a combined score of 17-0, has the title all but locked up.

Washington's only loss came at the hands of Central, 1-0, back on Sept. 8. The Eagles are ranked No. 7 in Class 1A and Central is tied for No. 10 in Class 2A.
