Eagan at Bloomington Jefferson
6 p.m., Tuesday, April 14

After a heartbreaking 10-9 loss to East Ridge in the season opener, Eagan (0-1) will try to even its record when it travels to Bloomington Jefferson. The Wildcats will need to adjust quickly to playing away from home, with six of their first seven games on the road. Luckily, Eagan's roster boasts 21 upperclassmen and their experience should benefit the Wildcats during the difficult stretch.

Senior midfielder Shane Kalb finished with four goals and junior attackman Nick Johnson had two in the loss to the Raptors, and the pair must continue scoring to give Eagan a chance against Bloomington Jefferson.

The Jaguars are picking up where they left off after last season’s promising 9-5 campaign, roughing up Minnesota State High School League newcomer St. Louis Park 19-2 in the season opener.

Junior attackman Ryan Graff, who had 41 goals for Bloomington Jefferson, was a Minnesota U.S. Lacrosse All-American selection and named to the Minnesota Coaches Association All-State team last season.

Senior defender Nate Buswell (32 ground balls) was named to the All-State Second Team by the coaches association.
