Stillwater at Mahtomedi
4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18

Three of Stillwater’s eight losses last season were by three goals or less, a building point for a team that finished 7-7 overall. The Ponies also return three of their top four scorers. Junior midfielder Harrison Yaste (15-9-24) is the catalyst on offense, while senior attackman Tyler Hein (14-1-15) and junior midfielder Colin Corcoran (9-5-14) provide the Ponies with additional scoring threats.

After making its first appearance at the state tournament appearance - and subsequent quick exit after back-to-back losses, Mahtomedi seems ready to take the next step. The Zephyrs' offense is led by junior attackman Matt Schwartz, an Air Force-commit who had 10 goals and 17 assists last year. Junior attackman Ethan Grover (16-4-20) and junior midfielder Cole Sellman (9-3-12) could be on the verge of breakout seasons.
