Robbinsdale Armstrong at Orono

A year after being a role player for Robbinsdale Armstrong, Nate Borowick has not only emerged as the Falcons' top scorer, but one of the state's top scorers as well. His 18 goals are tied for second-most in Minnesota and his 27 points are fourth-best.

Borowick is not the only returning player using last season as a springboard to success this season.

Junior attackman Joe Poferl has eight goals and sophomore midfielder Elliot Olson has six, while sophomore attackman Justin Blando has five -- all significant increases from last season. Junior midfielder Will Lawson also has five goals and 13 ground balls in his first season on the varsity.

Blake Leischow, meanwhile, isn't Orono's only high-scoring player. Freshman midfielder Davey Burns has 13 goals and junior attackman Dallas Perkins has 10, giving the Spartans’ a bevy of offensive options.
