Eagan at Eastview
5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30

Despite its 1-4 record, Eagan remains a dangerous team and could pose a threat to opponents down the stretch.

The Wildcats have played well in their three defeats, which were all to ranked teams. Eagan lost to No. 5 East Ridge (10-9), No. 3 Bloomington Jefferson (13-11) and No. 2 Prior Lake (12-6).

Senior attackman Noah Simpson (8-10-18), senior midfielder Shane Kalb (10-3-13) and junior attackman Nick Johnson (10 goals) have the offensive talent to get the Wildcats back on track.

Eastview (1-1, 1-1) is just one season removed from back-to-back state tournament appearances, and the Lightning are hoping their young lineup (four freshmen, 12 sophomores) continues to mature each game.

Sophomore attackman Noah Linder showed promise, scoring three goals in an 8-3 win over Farmington.
