Lakeville North at Prior Lake
5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 7

Senior attackmen Roman Rohrbach (21-23-44) and Ryan Bissonett (17-11-28) are two of Lakeville North’s top offensive players and have helped the Panthers post a perfect 4-0 mark in South Suburban Conference, where the team is tied with Prior Lake for first place.

Junior midfielder Max Johnson has recorded 17 ground balls in the last two games, possibly pointing to a new defensive presence for No. 8 Lakeville North (5-3).

How does a team stop No. 2 Prior Lake? There doesn't seem to be an answer, so far. The Lakers (7-0, 4-0) are the second-highest scoring team in the league with 53 goals (the Panthers are tops with 55), but they have given up a conference-low 17 goals - four fewer than any other team.

Sophomore attackman Carter Collins (16-11-27), senior attackman Connor Anderson (15-4-19) and senior midfielder Cullen Sowder (15 goals) are the top scorers, while senior attackman Taylor Kropp (6-13-19) and junior midfielder Matt Denman (5-13-18) are key in creating scoring opportunities.

With both teams entering the week undefeated in conference play, the winner of this matchup could create some separation at the top of the standings.
