Eastview at Prior Lake
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5

Eastview (3-2, 3-1 South Suburban Conference) had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 7-5 loss to No. 3 Bloomington Jefferson on May 2.

The good news for the Lightning is that their defense appears to be in good form, giving up just seven goals to a Jaguars' team averaging 12.9 goals per game. Eastview sophomore attackman Noah Linder has 10 goals and five assists.

With Prior Lake’s powerful offense on the docket, the Lightning will need a carbon copy of the defensive effort that slowed Bloomington Jefferson.

The No. 2 Lakers (7-0, 4-0) enter this South Suburban Conference matchup firing on all cylinders. Prior Lake has outscored its last four opponents 58-21, including a 20-0 victory over Shakopee on April 30, and the Lakers are tied with Lakeville North for first in the league standings.

Carter Collins finished with five goals and two assists and Cullen Sowder had four goals for Prior Lake in an 11-9 victory over No. 5 Rosemount on April 28. The Lakers could use another big performance from the pair against the Lightning in a game that carries seeding implications for the Section 2 playoffs.
