Delano at Holy Family Catholic
7 p.m., Friday, May 8

Since losing to Orono 13-9 on April 21, Delano (6-1, 2-1) has won four consecutive games by relying on a timely and opportunistic offense.

Senior midfielder R.J. Pfeilsticker (14-12-26) and junior attackman Luke Olsen (10-16-26) combine with freshman attackman Mitchell Durst (16-12-26) to lead the Tigers' offense heading into this Wright County Conference matchup. Delano is second in the league standings.

At 0-1 in conference play, Holy Family Catholic (2-4) is sitting in third place in the standings and can’t afford to lose any more ground if it wants to stay in contention for a league title.

The Fire played the Tigers close in the season opener with senior attackman Matt Ostertag scoring two goals in a 6-5 loss.
