Wayzata at Eden Prairie
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 19

Wayzata's wealth of talented attackmen and midfielders has helped the Trojans post an undefeated record. No. 3 Wayzata (10-0, 7-0) boasts several scoring options, including junior attackman Amar Batra (16-22-38), senior midfielder Grant Long (20-13-33) and senior attackman Max Stecker (18-14-32).

No. 6 Eden Prairie (8-3, 5-2) lost back-to-back games to Edina and Wayzata in late April, and the Eagles avenged their loss to the Hornets last week.

Is Wazyata next? Eden Prairie seems set to make the answer "yes." The Eagles have outscored opponents 42-22 while winning three of their last four games. The lone loss was a 9-7 squeaker to No. 2 Bloomington Jefferson.

Junior midfielder and Ohio State commit J.D. Spielman (25-13-38) has limitless skills, while senior attackmen Sean Patterson (24-10-34) and Nic Perkins (27 goals) are excelling in the offensive area.

Long scored four goals and senior midfielder Adam Grooms (16-10-26) scored three in Wayzata's 9-4 home victory over Eden Prairie on April 30.
