Undefeated Bloomington Jefferson took another step toward a special boys’ lacrosse season with a 15-10 victory against Mahtomedi. Junior Ryan Graff scored six Jaguars’ goals.

The Jaguars (17-0) jumped to a 5-1 first-quarter lead. After a 53-minute lightning delay at Minnetonka High School, Mahtomedi scored four-consecutive goals and tied the game 5-5.

Responding with the skill and swagger of a favored team, Jefferson pumped five-straight goals into the net and gained a 10-5 lead in the second quarter. The Zephyrs (12-5) hung around from there, though unable to pull the upset.
