Mahtomedi at Stillwater

Last year’s state consolation champion Mahtomedi returns a bulk of the talent that’s taken the Zephyrs to back-to-back state tournaments.

Senior attackers Matt Schwartz (43-45-88) and Ethan Grover (19-16-35), along with senior midfielders Cole Sellman (27-12-39), Jared Johnson (21-8-29) and junior midfielder Lucas Honebrink (17-7-24) make Mahtomedi a contender again this year.

If that’s not enough, senior goaltender Evan Stoker anchors the Zephyrs' defense for another season. 

Four of Stillwater’s seven losses last year were by three goals or less, indicating just how close the Ponies came to having a winning season. Senior attacker Zach Stahura (8-3-11) is the returning points leader for Stillwater.
