Lakeville South at Benilde-St. Margaret's
7 p.m., Friday, April 15

Last year’s state championship runner-up Lakeville South took a hit after Minnesota Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association Player of the Year Logan Halverson graduated, but the Cougars retain several talented scorers to fill her spikes.

Lakeville South senior forwards Emma Schaefer (46-6-52) and Chloe Crosby (31-12-43) are two players to keep an eye on.

Losing leading scorer Sydney Liebl hurts Benilde-St. Margaret’s, but the Red Knights will look to senior midfielder Sophie Roux (20-2-22) and senior forward Eleni Fialo (13 goals) to light up the scoreboard.

Senior goaltender Anna Degiulio is also back after winning eight games for the Red Knights, who went 9-5 last year and lost to Blake in the Section 6 finals.
