Despite the graduation losses, Wayzata (0-1) has found another scorer to help pick up the offensive slack in sophomore attacker Brooks Hanson.

Hanson scored three goals in the Trojans' 9-8 loss to defending state champion White Bear Lake, as did senior attacker Amar Batra. Junior attacker Riley Nelson scored a goal and handed out three assists for the Trojans.

As if having Spielman and Leiverman up front wasn't enough, Eden Prairie has an emerging star on defense in Jackson Zaugg. The junior was named a Player to Watch in the Star Tribune's season preview.
