Academy of Holy Angels at White Bear Lake

Academy of Holy Angels (1-0) cruised past St. Thomas Academy 10-5 to open its season on April 15.

Senior attacker Tommy Kraus recorded three goals and two assists in the win, and sophomore midfielder Spencer Sande scored twice and added an assist. Junior midfielder Tommy Martin and sophomore midfielder Jason Kraus each scored twice in the win for the Stars. 

Defending state champion White Bear Lake (1-0) edged Wayzata 9-8 on April 16 to start the season. The Bears got four goals from senior midfielder Shane Olsen, and two goals from sophomore midfielder Jared Lueck. Senior midfielder Ethan Peterson totaled a goal and two assists for the Bears.
