Eastview went 5-9 last season, and the Lightning are two years removed from its last state tournament appearance. 

That could change this year, with junior attacker Noah Linder (18-8-26) returning. Also keep an eye on sophomore midfielder Joe Stillings, who scored 11 goals last season. 

Lakeville South (1-0) downed St. Thomas Academy 8-6 to open the year. The Cougars defeated the Lightning during the 2015 regular season 8-2 behind two goals and an assist from returning senior attacker Donavon Dempsey.
