Minnetonka at Edina

Defeating Holy Family Catholic 15-9 to open the season is a good start for Minnetonka (1-0), but taking on Lake Conference opponent Edina is another story. 

Junior forward Savannah Bhojwani netted 20 goals and 35 points last season, and junior midfielder Anna DiFrancesco posted 21 goals and 33 points. Both players will be locked-in to a more crucial matchup for the Skippers. 

Despite a 14-3 loss in their first game, the Hornets (0-1) have the firepower to stick with the Skippers. Minnesota Girls' Lacrosse Coaches' Association all-state selections Catherine MacLennan (29-11-40) and Emily Reinke (25-10-35) can give opposing defenses headaches with their timely passing and laser-beam shots.
