Eden Prairie at Benilde-St. Margaret's

Defending state champion Eden Prairie kicks off the 2016 campaign with a lineup that resembles the roster that took home the title last season. 

Star Tribune All-Metro selection, senior forward Sara Woodring, scored 29 goals and 52 points last season, and returns with fellow All-Metro pick in junior defense Hannah Brink, who's committed to Ohio State. 

Benilde-St. Margaret's (0-1) missed last year's leading scorer Sydney Liebl in a season-opening 12-5 loss to Lakeville South. However, junior midfielder Ellie Bahr showed a great deal of promise on offense, scoring four goals in the loss for the Red Knights.
