Mahtomedi at Simley
7 p.m., Tuesday, May 3

Simley has the tough task of slowing down a Mahtomedi offense averaging 12.6 goals per game.

In addition to Matt Schwartz and Connor Lawless, the No. 2 Zephyrs (5-0, 1-0) rely on senior attacker Ethan Grover (8-8-16) up front and junior midfielder Lucas Honebrink (63 faceoff wins in 85 chances), who brings a steadying presence to the center of the field.

Midfielders Grant Taff (9-7-16) and Jakob Myers (8-3-11) give the Spartans (4-1, 1-1) multiple scoring threats, a key factor if third-place Simley wants to move ahead of the Zephyrs in the Metro East Conference standings.
