No opponent has come within four goals of upending top-ranked Eden Prairie this season, but the loss of senior midfielder J.D. Spielman to injury could level the playing field.

Without Spielman, the Eagles offense will rely on junior attacker Nick Leiverman (14 goals in just three games) in Tuesday's matchup with Lake Conference foe Edina and beyond.

The Hornets have gone 1-11 against Eden Prairie since 2011, but No. 2 Edina (5-0, 3-0) appears to have found its groove this year with an offense led by senior attackers Hunter Halling (12-4-16), John Marple (11-3-14) and A.J. Nelson (6-8-14) - and one which could cause trouble for the wounded Eagles (4-0, 2-0).
