Rosemount at Eastview
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 10

If Eastview defeats Rosemount, the Lightning will take sole possession of second place in the South Suburban Conference standings and stay within striking distance of league-leading Lakeville North.

It's not an easy task considering the No. 4 Irish (6-1, 5-1) have won five consecutive games since a 12-11 loss to No. 9 Prior Lake on April 21.

Rosemount (6-1, 5-1) wields a deep and productive offense, paced seniors Luke VanOverbeke (18-24-42), Simon Hatlen (24-6-30) and Brett Anderson (17-7-24). Junior midfielder Jack Reber has won an impressive 79 percent of his faceoff chances.

The No. 5 Lightning (5-1, 4-1) have not beaten the Irish since the 2013 regular season.
