Eden Prairie at Benilde-St. Margaret's
7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30

Benilde-St. Margaret’s 2-1 win over Eden Prairie last year nearly evened their regular-season series record. Each is 2-2-1 since 2011, the last time both went to state. That year, the Red Knights and Eagles claimed the Class 1A and 2A titles, respectively.

Eden Prairie boasts a roster with all but one upperclassmen. Junior captain Sean Kurtenbach had a team-leading five goals last season for a roster with 10 different goal scorers. Fellow junior Joey Kolleh was the Eagles’ top distributor with four assists.

After shutting out Duluth Marshall 4-0 on Aug. 25, Benilde-St. Margaret's appears to be in good hands after losing 13 regulars from last year.

Colin Segner had a goal and two assists while Santi Lambert, Luke Horton, and Billy Pannek netted goals in the victory.
