Totino-Grace at Anoka
7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30

Anoka and Totino-Grace finished in the top half of a highly contested Northwest Suburban Conference last season, and both look to gain an early advantage in the standings this season with a victory in their first league contest.

Eleven seniors graduated from a Totino-Grace squad that posted an 8-4-1 conference record and reached the Class 1A, Section 5 championship, where it fell to Breck 2-0.

The Eagles defeated the Tornadoes 4-2 in last season's opener. Junior Luke Lindsay scored in the game and hopes for another to keep No. 6-1A Totino-Grace climbing up the rankings.

Anoka fell to Minneapolis Washburn 4-0 last Saturday, dropping the Tornadoes from the top spot in the Class poll to No. 6. Senior Jake Peterson made 13 saves in the loss.
