Farmington at Owatonna
6:30 p.m., Friday, April 14

Owatonna compiled a program-best 12-2 record last season, and will look to avenge its only regular season blemish, a 10-7 loss to Farmington, in both teams' season-opener on Friday.

The Huskies will have to rely on sophomores Skyler Eaton (10 goals), Lauren Arthur (8-10-18), and juniors Jade Huseby (10 goals) and Laura Ebeling (nine goals) for offense after graduating 75 percent of their scoring from last year.

Maddie Seykora will anchor Owatonna in net as the centerpiece of a veteran defensive group that features five seniors. Seykora stopped 121 of 160 shots for a .756 save average that ranked the best last season among goaltenders who faced 75 shots or more.

Ashley Steffes (36-26-62) and Amanda Davenport (33-24-57) return as the Tigers’ one-two punch that will lead a balanced group of six other double digit scorers.
