White Bear Lake at Wayzata
1 p.m., Saturday, April 15

Both of White Bear Lake's leading scorers from last season have graduated, but the Bears show no signs of slowing down after winning a state title in 2015 and coming within a goal of a trip to the state tournament in 2016.

Junior attackers Jared Lueck and Jace Goudreau are back after piling up 32 and 16 goals, respectively, last season. Another Bear to keep an eye on is junior attacker Kyle Preslaski, who racked up 20 goals last year, including seven in the Section 4 playoffs.

After a one-year hiatus, Wayzata returned to the state tournament last season, thanks in part to the inspired play of returning junior Brooks Hanson and his 31 goals, 10 of which came in the postseason.

Hanson leads a cast that took a 6-6 record to a fourth place finish at the state tournament, and is joined by junior midfielder Alexander Sahli (22 goals) and senior midfielder Brenton Reddrick (18 goals).
