Academy of Holy Angels vs. St. Thomas Academy
5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 13

Tommy Kraus may have graduated and joined the men's lacrosse team at St. John's University in Collegeville, but little brother Jason returns to the Academy of Holy Angels lineup to resume wreaking havoc on opposing defenses.

Jason Kraus, now a junior, recorded 32 goals and 43 points last season, and will take over the lead role in the Stars' attack. Junior midfielder Spencer Sande will also take on a larger role after totaling 22 goals and 27 points last year.

The pair of juniors will give the Stars a good chance at improving on last season's 6-8 record.

St. Thomas Academy returns a bevy of veteran upperclassmen this season, with 19 seniors marking the Cadet roster, including goalie Peter Wicks.

The Cadets fell to the Stars in the season-opener last season by a score of 10-5 en route to a  7-7 record and a first-round exit from the Section 3 playoffs.
