Lakeville North at Chanhassen
7 p.m., Tuesday, April 18

Three consecutive trips to the state tournament have left Lakeville North empty-handed, but the Panthers return an impressive core from last year's state finals team that could reverse that trend.

With the graduation of leading scorers Max Johnson and Luke Anderson, junior attacker Luke Spanier could take on the role of primary scoring option for the Panthers, while returning starting goaltender Drew Bouman (10-2, .535 save percentage) takes his place in the crease for his senior season.

Chanhassen will be led by junior midfielder Jadon Kerry, a Duke commit who has been on the national recruiting radar for his entire high school career.

Kerry racked up 41 goals and 55 points in 2016 and, along with fellow junior attacker Cole Grindberg (34-27-61), paces an offense that brings back three players that totaled 35 or more points last season.
