Anoka at White Bear Lake

The electric duo of Preston Olson and Ollie Nigh has returned to to spearhead the offensive attack for Anoka, last season's Northwest Suburban Conference champion. 

Olson returns after recording 41 goals and 63 points as a junior, joined by Nigh's 36 goals and 51 points. The pair took Anoka to its first state tournament appearance last season. 

White Bear Lake's 2017 season began with an 11-6 win over Roseville and a 17-3 shellacking at the hands of Wayzata. 

Thankfully for the Bears (1-1), they'll return to the friendly confines of their White Bear Lake High School South Campus field for this matchup with Anoka.

The high-profile game could set the stage for a breakout from White Bear Lake junior Jace Goudreau, who is coming off a 16-goal, 30-point sophomore season.
