Minnetonka at Eden Prairie
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25

Tuesday’s game will be the first of two regular season meetings between Lake Conference foes Minnetonka and Eden Prairie, and this game may be a preview of the Section 2 championship, as the Eagles and Skippers have dueled in each of the last six section title games.

Two-time defending state champion, Eden Prairie, retained its top rank this season and has proven itself with wins over Wayzata (20-4) and Hopkins (19-1) last week. All-American Naomi Rogge leads the Eagles (2-0, 2-0) with 11 goals and six assists.

Minnetonka slid to No. 5 in the rankings after dropping three-goal losses to No. 4 Prior Lake (7-4) and No. 7 Edina (10-7). The Skippers (2-2, 0-0) bounced back after ousting No. 11 Holy Family Catholic 10-5 on Saturday. Savannah Bhojwani controls Minnetonka’s attack, which will need to make the most of every possession if the Skippers are to beat Eden Prairie for the first time in six years.
