Chanhassen at Bloomington Kennedy
5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27

Bloomington Kennedy hosts Chanhassen on Thursday and looks to avenge last season's 10-9 loss to the eventual Metro West Conference champions.

The Eagles return all but one member of the team that lost only two games in last year's regular season. This spring, a seasoned Bloomington Kennedy (2-0) team is eyeing a run at the league title.

Goalkeeper Alyssa Bryan-Jeffries will anchor a veteran defensive core, while Julia Monson has been on an offensive tear, tallying 29 points in two games as the state’s top producer.

The Storm (2-1) had an upset of No. 4 Prior Lake foiled last Thursday by a goal with 42 seconds remaining to give the Lakers a 9-8 win. Emma Silbernagel had four goals and two assists the game and leads the team in scoring with 10 goals in three games for No. 10 Chanhassen.
