Eagan at Shakopee
5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27

Shakopee has already matched its win total from last season and will be looking to add to its win column in a two-game week that is capped by Eagan on Thursday.

The Sabers won their first two games of the spring, but dropped a 21-5 loss to powerhouse Apple Valley on Tuesday and a 15-14 nailbiter to Hutchinson on Thursday. Madison Valiant has been vital for Shakopee as the senior forward has a team-high 13 goals in three games for the Sabers (2-2).

The Wildcats opened the season in dramatic fashion with a 14-13 overtime victory over Park of Cottage Grove, but stumbled in a 16-11 loss to East Ridge last Thursday. Molly Busch leads an Eagan (1-1) team that returns all but one double digit scorer from last year.
