Tartan at Mahtomedi

Both Tartan and Mahtomedi have recently been in the shadow of Hill-Murray in the Metro East Conference and are itching for a chance at the league title. The Zephyrs also ended the Titans season last spring, adding even more fuel to this matchup. 

Tartan rebounded from two close losses to Mounds View (8-6) and White Bear Lake (13-12) with a 11-5 win over Northfield on Saturday. Tartan (1-2) is anchored Jaden Young, who made the jump from defender to forward this season.

Mahtomedi (1-1) defeated Forest Lake 10-9 in its opener, but fell 13-4 to Lakeville North last Thursday. The duo Abby Searles and Dana Searles will be called upon to match the Titans offensive output for the Zephyrs.
