Prior Lake at Burnsville
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25

Prior Lake (2-0) has opened its season with wins over perennial powers Blake (10-8 on April 18) and Bloomington Jefferson (9-5 on April 22), giving the No. 4 Lakers the appearance of a team primed to follow up last season’s state title run with another strong showing.

The senior attacker duo of Carter Collins (5-1-6) and Devin Truso (2-4-6) has been electric in the team’s first two games, combining for 12 points.

With just two more wins, Burnsville could exceed its entire win total from 2016, thanks in large part to the play of junior attacker Devin Delaney (7-4-11). Junior midfielder Mark Fesenmaier has also given the Blaze (1-2) a consistent scoring option, totaling seven goals in two games.

A win in this matchup would give the Blaze its first victory in the South Suburban Conference since 2015.
