Simley at Hastings
7 p.m., Tuesday, April 25

Simley opened the season with a thrilling 9-7 win over East Ridge last Thursday. Senior attacker Carson Schwark led the winning drive with four goals for the Spartans (1-0), followed by senior midfielder Josh Halloran, who recorded three goals and an assist.

In this Metro East battle, the Spartans’ high-flying duo will be tested by a Hastings (2-1) offense that’s racked up 43 goals in three games.

Hastings torched Breck 20-3 in a season-opening win on April 13, but fell to St. Michael-Albertville 18-5 on April 17. The Raiders and their offense rebounded in a 18-8 victory over Roseville last Tuesday.

Last year's starting goalie, Jaden Axelrod returns for Hastings, providing upperclassman leadership and stability.
