Champlin Park at Breck
7 p.m., Friday, May 5

Both teams saw mixed results in close matchups last week and can expect another competitive game in this nonconference contest.

Champlin Park (4-1, 4-1) fell 11-10 in overtime to Blaine last Wednesday, wrecking the Rebels' perfect record. Sam Nolan (19-7-26) tallied three goals and two assists for Champlin Park (4-1, 4-1) in the loss.

Breck was fortunate to pull away from Bloomington Jefferson late for a 12-11 victory on Saturday. Sophomore Polly Burns heads a varied attack for the Mustangs (3-0), scoring nine goals in Breck’s first two games of the season.

The Mustangs will need to tighten up defensively or continue their hot scoring streak to keep pace with the Rebels.
