Prior Lake at Eagan
5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 4

Prior Lake (4-0, 2-0) has surrendered just 10 goals in its last three games, proof of a defense that can force turnovers and make opposing teams uncomfortable in the offensive zone.

Offensively, the No. 3 Lakers are propelled by the play of seniors Carter Collins (11-6-17) and Devin Truso (4-6-10). Truso burst onto the scene as a junior when he recorded seven goals and 10 points in the Lakers' run to the 2017 state title.

Eagan returns several key pieces from its own successful postseason team, an overachieving squad that went 6-7 in the 2016 regular season before making it to the state tournament.

Back from that team and leading the Wildcats (4-0, 2-0) into this South Suburban tilt are senior attacker Brandon Wuertz (16-6-22) and junior attacker Isaac Peifer (15-6-21).
