Roseville at Hill-Murray
1 p.m., Saturday, May 13

Roseville dealt Hill-Murray a 9-5 season-ending loss in the Section 4 semifinals a year ago, and with both teams boasting strong records heading into this regular season's final two weeks, Saturday’s game could be crucial in determining section seeding.

The Raiders won their first four games this spring on the sticks of Ciara Colvard (32-2-34) and Hannah Distad (19-16-35), before falling to East Ridge 16-11 last Thursday. Roseville bounced back with a 16-11 victory over Irondale two days later.

Caroline Cayot has carried the Pioneers this year. She tallied seven goals and an assist against Mahtomedi in a 15-5 victory last week. Hill-Murray (6-0, 4-0) followed up the performance with a 15-8 win over Mounds View on Saturday.

The Pioneers squeaked past White Bear Lake 16-15 in their season opener and could struggle against a Roseville team (5-1, 3-1) boasting a solid defense -- one the Raiders used to defeat the Bears 17-9 two weeks later.
