Blake at Eden Prairie
5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 25

Eden Prairie just suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Illinois powerhouse Loyola Academy 11-7 in the pouring rain last Saturday. The Eagles will be looking to get back in a groove that has seen them average 17.3 goals a game while allowing only 3.4.

Midfielder Naomi Rogge (58-18-76), who has committed to play hockey at Minnesota-Duluth, leads the Eagles in scoring and holds the all-time state tournament record for total points (18).

Blake will have a difficult time matching Eden Prairie’s athleticism, but the right defensive scheme could slow the Eagles enough to allow the Bears' balanced offense to take over.

Emma Burke (20-23-43) leads a group of four players who have reached double figures in goals and assists this season, a testament to an offense built around patience and possession.
