Hutchinson and Buffalo are tied atop the Greater West Metro Lacrosse Conference standings and are vying for their first league title. Both also carry impressive streaks into the final week of the regular season, making their Thursday meeting one to watch.

After failing to reach double digits in a 9-6 season-opening loss to Orono, the Tigers (11-1, 7-1) have rolled to 11 straight wins by outscoring competition 199-81. They are Minnesota's second-highest scoring this season, while Lex Seifert (60-23-83) is the state leader in points and tops her team in goals and assists.

The Bison have posted double-digit scores in every game this season, including in a 20-12 victory over St. Michael-Albertville last Friday. Emma Carlson (41-10-51) scored three times in the game with the Knights to help Buffalo (10-1, 7-1) clinch its ninth consecutive win.
