Mankato at Northfield
5:45 p.m., Monday, May 22

Second-year program Mankato pulled off a 4-3 upset of three-time defending Big 9 Conference champion Owatonna on May 16, and the co-op containing players from East and West high schools now has a chance to clinch a share of the league title with a win over Northfield.

Jordan Romnes had her best game of the season against the Huskies, stopping 18 of 21 shots in net for Mankato (9-2, 8-1) and will have to be on her game again against the Raiders, a team that posted a season-high 14 goals in a 15-14 loss to Rochester Mayo last Friday.

Kieran Rodning netted eight goals against the Spartans and will look to score early and often for Northfield (3-8, 2-6), which scored only one goal in the second half in its first meeting with Mankato.
