Lakeville North at Eagan
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 23

Overlook Lakeville North at your own risk.

Despite the pedestrian .500 record, the No. 12 Panthers have gone toe-to-toe with some of the state's best, including losses by less than three goals to No. 3 Eden Prairie, No. 7 Prior Lake, No. 8 Rosemount and No. 5 Benilde-St. Margaret's.

Junior attackers Luke Spanier (19-26-45) and Matt Friesen (23 goals) pace the Panthers (6-6, 4-4) offense which features five players who have 13 or more goals this season.

Eagan (11-1, 7-1) has the offensive firepower to overwhelm most teams, and the No. 2 Wildcats could be even more keyed up after suffering their first loss of the season on May 18 -- a 12-7 defeat to No. 1 Eastview.

Senior attacker Brandon Wuertz ranks second in the state in goals this season with 48 and ranks third in overall points with 60. The Eagan attack also features junior Isaac Peifer (35-13-48) along with four additional players who have 21 or more points.
