Anoka at Blaine
7 p.m., Friday, May 26

Anoka and Blaine enter this matchup trailing Northwest Suburban Conference leader Maple Grove in the league standings, and Friday's victor could be in position to grab a share of the conference crown if the Crimson falter this week in one or both of their final two league games of the year.

The Tornadoes (8-1, 7-1) have won four consecutive games since an 11-9 loss to Maple Grove on May 3, and they've done it in impressive fashion. Anoka scored double-digit goals and won by five or more goals in all four contests.

Senior forward Preston Olson (24-12-36) along with senior midfielder and Detroit Mercy commit Ollie Nigh (27-6-33) power the Tornadoes offense.

Blaine has also been dominant since its 12-3 loss to Maple Grove on May 10.

The Bengals have scored 40 goals while winning four straight games, and they will need the run to continue in the final week of the regular season. Junior attacker Connor Nadeau has been a threat of the offense lately, scoring five goals in the Bengals' 15-4 win over Coon Rapids on May 12.

Anoka may own a high-octane offense, but Blaine (9-2, 8-2) boasts a defense that has held opponents to single-digit goals in 10 of its 11 games this season.
