Christine Easton, an Eden Prairie senior and Ms. Lacrosse finalist who scored 59 goals in 13 regular season games, has been chosen Player of the Year by the Minnesota Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association.
Easton, who has committed to play at Ohio State, is one of five players from undefeated and No. 1-ranked Eden Prairie to make the 40-member coaches association All-State list.
No. 3-ranked Lakeville North also have five players on the all-state list. No. 2-ranked Blake and No. 4 Stillwater each have four all-state players.
Cretin-Derham Hall coach Andrew Lecker and Eden Prairie co-head coach Judy Baxter shared Coach of the Year honors.
Ana Bowlsby of Eden Prairie was selected as Assistant Coach of the Year.
