Larson helped the Eagles to a fourth-place finish in the girls’ lacrosse state tournament. The midfielder scored 93 goals this season as the Eagles finished 17-2.

Larson, a Ms. Lacrosse finalist and an all-state selection, will play Division II lacrosse at St. Leo University in Florida.

Here is closer look at Larson, who also played hockey for Apple Valley:

The best movie I’ve seen in the last year? “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.”

Three words or phrases my friends or teammates might use to describe me? Dedicated, passionate and short.

What are your three favorite apps? Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest.

At my first varsity practice, I felt … incredibly scared and excited at the same time.

What is your favorite meal before a game? Either Bruegger’s or Jimmy John’s.

I know I have an edge on an opponent when … I’m faster than them.

What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete? Being able to make it to, and play in, the lacrosse state tournament twice in my career. (The Eagles took third place in the 2012 state tournament.)

If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be? Get rid of the having to stop your feet after each whistle in lacrosse. It slows the game down and it would be more fun to be able to be more free while we play.

What do you like to do in your free time? Sleep and tan!

What is the best sports advice you ever received? Play every game like it’s your last, and never back down.
