Minnesota boasts bumper crop of recruits

More than 70 of state's top players headed to NCAA, MCLA programs

Led by Johns Hopkins recruit Rex Sanders, a senior who helped Eastview reach last year's state title game, Minnesota has nine players committed to NCAA Division I men's lacrosse programs.

Parker Weinstock, a junior midfielder at at defendting state champion Minnetonka, has committed to Colgate. Eight other state players have made committments to Division I programs.

The list doesn't stop there, however. Counting committments to NCAA Division II and III and MCLA Division I and II programs, more than four dozen state players will continue to compete at the next level.
