East Ridge returns two of last year’s leading scorers from a team that went 11-2 in the regular season and was edged by Mahtomedi 9-8 in the Section 4 championship.

The Raptors again have a balanced squad, relying on senior attackman Jacob Wetterstrom (25 goals, 9 assists, 34 points) in the front and defensive ace Bodie Sheehan (59 ground balls) in the back.

Up-and-coming East Ridge squares off against longtime power Eagan in our Top Game of the Week. Eagan hasn’t made the state tournament since 2010, but the Wildcats have a very real chance of ending that drought this season, led by senior attackman Kevin Sturgeon (29-20-49).
