Eric Fong scored four goals to lead Wayzata past defending state champion Minnetonka 8-5 on Friday, June 4, in the Section 6 title game at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School.
The victory sends the Trojans (11-6) to their first Minnesota State High School League state tournament.
Sean Keogh added two goals for Wayzata, which led 5-1 at halftime.
