Bison looking to add some scoring punch with Veldhuis, Flock

North Dakota State University men’s lacrosse coach Zach Bosh has announced the commitment of 14 student-athletes for the 2011 season.

“The goal for this year’s recruiting class was to add overall depth to our team while bringing up the skill level,” Bosh said. “As a coaching staff we feel like we have far exceeded those goals. With the addition of players like Alex Veldhuis, Alex Flock, Max Foley and Kyle Sturgeon we added some real scoring punch.”

This year’s recruiting class will join a Bison team that only lost two players to graduation from last year’s squad that finished third among nine teams in the Upper Midwest Lacrosse League’s Division II.
